My love for working with children started at a very young age. I was teaching music lessons at age 12 and opened my own Music Studio in 2011. While in college, I worked at Boys and Girls Club where I met my husband, Kyle. He had the same passion for working with kids and vision of creating a children's success center that I had. In 2017 we opened TNT Kidz Center and expanded beyond running other people's programs to bring our dream to life! We now have not only our Music Studio location, but a Childcare Center for Infants-High School. We offer Music, Dance, Martial Arts, Homeschool and Full Day Childcare. We love all of our students and are passionate about creating an atmosphere of success and growth for all of our staff and students! We believe in family inclusion and individual choice. We are here to support each family and student to reach their full potential! Come check us out!
I have been working with children in many different roles for over 16 years now. I love challenging and supporting children along their journey to reach their full potential. I believe in todays world it is important to empower children from a young age with the tools to face and overcome adversity. I believe one of the best ways to do this is through activities such as Martial Arts, Music, Dance and Athletic training. The situations and life lessons learned on the mat, playing field or piano, can be directly applied to everyday life with amazing results.

Music and I have been inseparable for the past 17 years; from exploring genres and songwriting, to recording and performing with friends. It’s one of the best things I’ve found for connecting with other people. Teaching guitar for many years has been a great way for me to pass that on and inspire students to step out and connect with people around them; learning how to believe in themselves and step into things with confidence. In teaching, I believe in ‘playing’ music vs ‘working;’ finding that students tend to learn best by taking the pressure off and having fun. With this approach, I structure points to integrate a basic knowledge of music theory; so that students not only know what they’re playing, but also why it works. I love building relationships and teaching students and look forward to those I will meet at TNT.
My name is Huiyin Lei. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in music vocal performance. My experience of reading staff music started in the summer before beginning my college life. Studying music as my major was the most challenging decision, but it was also the most accurate decision I made. I will love music for my entire life because I believe music motivates human emotions; music gives happiness. I want to keep exploring music skills and spreading the magical energy to the kids. I have patience and passion for working with children; they always bring me positive energy. And I hope I can be their good friend and a moral teacher to accompany them to grow.
Homeschool Teacher & Owner of Creativity Alive
I have been teaching school age children for over 20 years. It has been my pleasure to work with children who are full of imagination and creativity. During art lessons students learn to orchestrate colors, illuminations, depth of field and other techniques as they express their thoughts and images. These wonderful paintings and art work have their own stories and have become a form of speech to them and to us.
